A Stretchy Twist on the Table

These crawls are part of an effort to archive pages as they are created and archive the pages that they refer to. That way, as the pages that are referenced are changed or taken from the web, a link to the version that was live when the page was written will be preserved.

Then the Internet Archive hopes that references to these archived pages will be put in place of a link that would be otherwise be broken, or a companion link to allow people to see what was originally intended by a page’s authors.

The goal is to fix all broken links on the web. Crawls of supported «No More 404» sites.

A Sporster with Škoda Inspiration

Wayback Machine

The two seater R200 coupe concept takes inspiration from the only true Czechoslovak car – the legendary 1970s Škoda 130 RS. The designers at H&N retained many of the retro elements that were signature to the Škoda such as the iconic blunt nose, sporty form, and simple arched rear. Inside, however, modern mechanics and technological advancements are all contemporary changes.

As for performance, we’re talking 430 hp, acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.5 seconds and a maximum speed of 280 km/h or 173 mph. This is made possible with a high quality chassis, all-aluminium support frame, and an eight-cylinder Audi R8 engine as the technical basis. It sports a six-speed manual transmission, and not much else in the interior unnecessary features in the interior… just you and a thrilling driving experience.

A Stellar Lighting Solution | Star Magazine

casiopea_00

Inspired by the constellation of the same name, the Casiopea floor lamp is not only a lighting solution to work under but a stylish addition to any room. Each joint has an integrated LED – together they simulation the stars and highlight the design’s angular shape and contrasting round components. To achieve clean, minimalist style, the specialized joints also route the cable through and around to the next tubular section.

A Timeless Timepiece | Star Magazine

I’m not usually a fan of oversized watch faces but Squarestreet’s Plano Timekeeper has got me rethinking the style! Named after the Spanish word for flat, the 38mm design features an unusually large 36mm pane of hard mineral glass that gives it a sense of fragility and elegance. Standing a mere 6.7mm tall, it’s also their slimmest model. The wafer thin watch, with its hairline bezel and spindly lugs, may, at a glance, appear entirely classic and slightly conservative, but upon closer inspection, a wealth of contemporary detailing is apparent. As far as oversized watches go, it’s close to the classiest I’ve seen!

A Timepiece for Poseidon | Star Magazine

You’ll find a lot of watches on YD. The reason we see no shortage of watches is because we believe each watch design, like the humans who wear it, has a certain character. Watches do much more than tell the time. They speak more of your tastes. The Mori Brass Diver watch by Ventus, for instance, is built for people who are more comfortable inside water than outside it. I’m talking about divers, swimmers, sailors, surfers… Mori Brass Diver isn’t a water resistant watch. It’s water proof, and how! The Mori can withstand up to 30 atmospheres of pressure. That’s a 300m depth, where most watches don’t go below 30. The watch’s aesthetic beautifully portrays the company’s motto – “Inspired by the past, built for the future”. Its brass construction gives it a vintage appeal, but under the brass hood lies a Seiko NH35 that runs ‘forever’.

Each watch also comes with a superluminova coating that makes the dial glow in darkness. Perfect for reading underwater, the dial comes with two luminous varieties, a new-age blue, and a vintage green. The upper domed glass is crafted from sapphire, making it resistant to scratches and cuts (something you’re bound to get underwater), while the underside of the watch celebrates its abilities (and its audience) with a stamped graphic of a vintage underwater mask. An incredibly built watch for a niche audience, but I would still love owning something with such amazing attention to detail! Wouldn’t you??
