Where to sleep in Rome, Italy
Finding a place to sleep in Rome is not the trouble. There are so many hotels in Rome that finding a vacant bed, even in the high season, probably won’t be an issue. Your options are limitless, because every major tourist attraction is surrounded by hotels. Below is our top pick, make sure you check it out.
Hotel Capo D’Africa
I was looking to rent an apartment in Rome on the net I could not help but notice the Capo D’Africa and its rave reviews on Trip Advisor and thought I’d share with you what we saw.
It’s easy to deduce that we are faced with an accommodation for all budgets; it is in fact a four-star hotel, which is located more than 200 meters from the Colosseum. The 65 rooms are spacious and well-furnished and in addition the hotel offers a cocktail bar for a drink and something to tease, a meeting room and a well-equipped gym.
The prices are in line with what is offered, but booking in advance you can check very interesting rates: for example, if you book for December, the price of a double room is about 150 euro per night.
Hotel Raphael in Piazza Navona
Lovely location, 5 star luxury, panoramic terrace, tastefully furnished rooms and suites, meeting room, fitness center, reception area and restaurant here is what’s on offer, in a nutshell at the Raphael Hotel, located just behind Piazza Navona and then, I repeat, in a truly enviable location.
With this in mind and looking at the category of the hotel of course you should think of the cost: well, if you book well in advance you start with about 120 euro per person per night, a very attractive price considering the class of the hotel. There are also numerous promotions for those who choose to stay for a minimum of three nights, with discounts of 30%.
Finally, I think I can say that the works of art displayed permanently inside the hotel are fantastic and luxurious, which include, inter alia Rome’s Picasso ceramics and Mayan antiquities.
