Cancun of Mexico | The Best destination for bachelor parties

Cancun of Mexico is one of the best destinations for bachelor parties! Naturally you’ll be heading there with your best buddies to have a wonderful time. A fun thing to do would be printing your own t-shirts with funny messages about the future husband such as ‘Game over’. This is a simple task thanks to easy design of custom shirts for men at Shirtinator. When you arrive in Cancun you’ll realize that the climate is similar to that of Punta Cana which is hot and humid so it’s typically tropical. The journey from the airport to the hotel takes about an hour, during which you begin to appreciate the landscape that alternates between American style convenience store and small towns. Upon arrival, the hotel welcomes the new group of tourists with a nice buffet of fruits, many of which you may have never tasted before. After resting with the friends and companions of many trips, it’s time to head to the beach.

The reality that prevails over fiction here is the soft sand and palm trees and small bars that prepare various drinks at a moment’s notice such as fruit cocktails. Your first impression will be really positive! Since you might be new to Cancun it would be wise to ask for information at the hotel. You’ll be told that the city is divided into two zones. One for tourists and made of hotels along the coast where your hotel is also probably located. The other is inhabited by the “pueblo”, the locals. Since your stay will probably be short for the party in Cancun, I will give some advice and useful information for everyone traveling to Cancun.

To purchase souvenirs of local crafts, head into the less touristy area of Cancun and especially in the central market you may find a nice gift for your future wife. Here you must negotiate on price! For nightlife I advise you to stay in the tourist area along the coast. Once in Cancun, you can do PADI courses for all levels. Don’t forget the camera, and the case to go underwater! Even with simple mask and snorkel you can take home unique images. To move to Cancun, I suggest using the bus network that works very well. Avoid taxis because they tend to demand high prices.

The high season runs from December to March, so the weather is beautiful but you will also find a lot of people, especially American tourists. From April to June it is warmer but the prices are lower and there it is less crowded. From July to October there is the risk of hurricanes, although Mexicans are accustomed to them so they alert visitors from the hotel at the first sign.

Safari Gadgets Safari Gadgets: Great Gadget for Safari Tour

When planning a safari to Africa there are numerous things you may wish to take with you, from sun cream to khaki shorts. However, in our tech savvy world, the need to integrate technology with all that we do is a must. As such a safari experience can easily be enhanced by taking along the right gadgets for the ride. Read on to discover Mahlatini Luxury Safari’s top 5 suggestions.

Binoculars

One of the must have pieces of safari tech is a decent pair of binoculars. While at times your safari viewing experience will be spectacular, and you will find yourself just metres away from a pride of lion or a herd of elephant, there is always the chance your guide will spot an animal too far away to see clearly with the naked eye. It’s here that a good pair of binoculars can really make a difference. They also lend themselves well to birding and stargazing. A pair of compact binoculars is probably the best choice for a safari, owing to their smaller size and lighter weight.

Camera

While binoculars allow you to see some incredible safari moments a decent camera will allow you to capture them. When on safari there will be daily game drives that present the opportunity to take some beautiful wildlife shots. For practicality and especially when on a walking safari, a camera that is compact would be the best idea. While digital SLR’s will produce higher quality pictures, for the amateur photographer a lighter and cheaper bridge camera will serve you just as well.

Smart Phone

Who doesn’t have a smart phone these days? They can come in very handy when abroad through their ability to cross language barriers. Thanks to apps such as Google Translate for an android phone or iTranslate for an iPhone you can make travelling a whole lot easier, something that could be particularly useful should there be any cultural interaction on your safari. The night sky in Africa is always a sight to behold, with a mass of stars and constellations to see. If your astronomy skills aren’t up to standard then apps like Google Sky Map for android and Star Walk for iPhone can help you understand what you’re looking at.

Night Vision Binoculars or Monoculars

While there is always plenty to see during the day, so much wildlife interaction in Africa takes place after dark. For night game drives investing in a pair of night vision binoculars or monoculars would be a good idea. Not only will you get a great view of the game you can do so without disturbing them with torch light.

Trail Camera

If you want to know what’s happening while you’re away from camp or you would like to see which animals pass by during the night, a trail camera can provide the answers. Equipped with a motion sensor and capable of taking stills and video, a trail camera can capture the hidden wildlife interactions that would otherwise go unseen should humans be active in the area. This is the perfect gadget for tented safaris and a fantastic way of capturing some incredible wildlife shots.

While a safari is very much about getting back to nature, integrating a little bit of technology into the mix can add a fun new dimension that can truly enhance the safari experience.

What to see in Florence, San Miniato al Monte

Away from the city center where tourists are accustomed to running around on foot, you encounter many others en route to hotels, or exiting the train station of Santa Maria Novella. It is now easily accessible thanks to the 12 dell’ATAF, buses of the town Florence, which connect the station of Piazzale Michelangelo. Do yourself a favor and wear comfortable walking shoes during your exploration of the city. Your feet will thank you for it. Nike and Adidas make excellent walking shoes. I stumbled across those trainers as I planned my trip to Florence

I got off the train, we bought tickets (1.20 €, or 2 euro if you buy them on the bus), and we headed to the last stop, just outside the station. On Saturday (May the 12th) it took me about half an hour, to disentangle the unique ways of the center and climb the hill overlooking the city; descent announced, the previous one to the terminal in Piazzale Michelangelo

Off the bus, the road can be seen through the trees of Brunelleschi’s dome as well as the tower of the Palazzo Vecchio, but the best view you will enjoy from the terrace where the church stands. All Florence opens the eyes of the visitor, opening the heart to a sigh of beauty. Here, a good camera and a good photographer, makes the difference.

Going into the first impression, this is of a normal church that can only be demonstrated by that of Santa Maria del Fiore. But you get used to the gloom which can also be found San Miniato inside location because it has its own beauty.

The final raised part (the presbytery and the choir) cannot just be compared the entrance floor, and below that there is the beautiful crypt, and then again the abisde and the sacristy; the only part of the church for which they ask even insistently for a small donation to enter (1 euro). But we had the real stroke of luck … close to the majestic organ, next to the choir.

It was a little past 12 (Saturday), when the organs began to play, creating an atmosphere that has pasted all those that were presented to the pews of the church. Even a “not understanding” of sacred music like me, was able to enjoy this unexpected and engaging concert.

Next to the Basilica then is the small pharmacy of the Benedictines, all around the cemetery, where among others Spadolini rests next to Cecchi Gori’s father and before the splendor of Florence, which lends itself gracefully to frame the most beautiful day of many brides and grooms who come all this way to capture their special day.

From here, walk to Piazzale Michelangelo, where you can quench your thirst with a refreshing drink or sit down in one of his several local and elegant places for a small meal. I will go on the safe side by telling you that San Miniato al Monte is not to be missed when visiting Florence.

Here is the new Ekoore Python S3 tablet with keyboard Android, Windows and Ubuntu system.

We talked about the Python Ekoore Tablet S at the beginning of last year, at that time it was different from other proposals for infinite possibilities of use, thanks to the support of three operating systems: Linux, Android 3.2 and Windows 7.

Ekoore Python S3 New Ekoore Python S3 tablet with keyboard Android, Windows and Ubuntu system

The tablet has undergone a major upgrade to the new version of Python Ekoore S3, thanks to its versatility it offers the possibility to use as the operating system the Android (4.2) platform, as well as the one of Ubuntu or Windows. If the users select to opt for the Windows option they can get from 1&1 Hosting all-round performance for their online projects. The three operating systems can co-exist to allow the user to select the operating system to start, when you turn the tablet on. The really interesting aspect for this tablet also lies in the full QWERTY keyboard dock that allows the 11.6-inch tablet to be used as a real notebook. It also works as a secondary battery, and extends the range of the device. In practice, each time you connect the tablet to the keyboard, the tablet also recognizes the secondary battery, and continues to operate, but with a much higher autonomy.

The keyboard is also equipped with a touchpad and function keys for major adjustments, it also extends the connectivity of the table, by adding two USB ports and an ethernet port.

The Heart of the device instead is represented by an Intel Dual Core processor 847, which supports up to 8GB of RAM and 64GB of SSD memory.

As mentioned, the Python series was born with the purpose of uniting in a single tablet, multiple operating systems. The Python S3, both with Ubuntu, with Android 4.2 and Windows 8, offers the opportunity to create multiple accounts, to each person who can use them continuously. In this way the different users do not communicate with each other or rather, do not have access to the same information and so there are no risks of having photos, data, files or applications which are the same for the different selected accounts.

Ekoore Python S3 02 New Ekoore Python S3 tablet with keyboard Android, Windows and Ubuntu system

Python S3 is compatible with Ubuntu, Windows 8, and Android. In fact it is possible to choose which of the three operating systems will take on the tablet (you can also buy it with all three, and select the one to be used each time), or the user can install operating systems from his/her preference.

Ekoore Python S3 03 New Ekoore Python S3 tablet with keyboard Android, Windows and Ubuntu system

Ubuntu is a Linux-based operating system developed by Canonical, with the help of the OpenSource community. The Python S3 is compatible with version 4.13 (the latest), which is equipped with many tools that encourage the use of both via the touch screen, or via the keyboard dock which makes this piece the new golden stone of technology .

Made famous when its smaller neighbor, Koh Phi Phi Leh, was used as the filming location for The Beach, the main island sees a lot of traffic from both backpackers and luxury travelers these days. Water like this is a big part of the draw.

Blue Lake, New Zealand

Blue Lake New Zealand 640x428 20 Best Places to Swim around the World

One of many bodies of water in this list that someone or other has claimed has the clearest water in the world, Blue Lake is located in Nelson Lakes National Park, in the Southern Alps of New Zealand.

Valle Verzasca, Switzerland

Valle Verzasca Switzerland 640x480 20 Best Places to Swim around the World

The clear waters of the Verzasca River run for 30km through this rocky valley in southern Switzerland. A dam of the same name, featured in the James Bond movie GoldenEye, blocks the river’s flow and forms Lago di Vogorno. Just downstream from it, the river empties into Lake Maggiore.

Belo Sur Mer, Madagascar

Belo Sur Mer Madagascar 640x480 20 Best Places to Swim around the World

Photo by Ross Borden: “I started in Moronvada, on the west coast of Madagascar and hired a boat and driver to take me down the coast to Belo Sur Mer, a super-isolated section of coastline known for diving, fishing and the fact that almost no one makes the trip down there. Belo Sur Mer is amazing on its own, but when the owner of the eco-lodge there told me about a string of uninhabited islands 80km off the coast, we jumped back in the boat and pointed it west, towards Mozambique and mainland Africa. What we found was four uninhabited gorgeous islands and one that had a tribe of “sea gypsies” living on it. These fascinating and hospitable people live off the rich fishing stocks of the Mozambique channel. We camped and lived with them for two days and they even took me along on an all-night fishing expedition in one of their sailboats in the middle of the Indian Ocean. It was one of the most amazing travel experiences of my life. During the day I would go snorkeling. Shoving off these tiny islands the water gets several hundreds of feet deep very quickly; I was out there with massive schools of deep ocean fish.”

Lake Marjorie, California

Lake Marjorie California 640x424 20 Best Places to Swim around the World

From the photographer: “Lakes in the High Sierra come in a number of colors. Lake Marjorie, at 11,132′ has an aquamarine “swimming pool” tint. Crater Mountain dominates the skyline, with Pinchot Pass to the south. I was happy to see clouds at dawn, but by noon a fast moving storm was spitting hail, thunder, and lightning as we cleared Mather Pass. Damn, this spot is gorgeous.”

Bodrum, Turkey

Bodrum Turkey 640x424 20 Best Places to Swim around the World

Along the southern coast of the peninsula of the same name, Bodrum has an ancient history and was the site of one of the 7 Wonders of the Ancient World (the Mausoleum at Halicarnassus). It also has some amazingly clear water. From the photographer: “[It's] so clear at certain places that boats appear to be floating in mid-air! It reminded me of Luke’s Landspeeder from Star Wars.”

If swimming’s your thing, plan your next vacation around one of these refreshing hot spots.
